2D Panel and virtual cockpit

The 2D panel and gauges provided are simple and some gauges certainly
don't belong on a 50's era aircraft, but they work well enough. A few
of the gauges I used are from the World War II fighter plane gauges that
came with FS2004. I installed my FS2004 with the full install option.
So those WWII gauges were installed into the FS2004 Gauge folder.
However, I am not certain if these gauges would be installed with a base
install. So if some of the gauges don't appear than that is the reason.

The WWII gauges I used are f6f3_hellcat.gau and f4f4_wildcat.gau. If
they are not in your FS2004 gauge folder you can find them on FS2004
Disk 2 in the MSGAME3.cab file.

There's also a GPS and some autopiolt controls even though these Sabre's
had neither.

I've provided an alternate canopy.bmp texture for the interior canopy
glass. This will make the glass completely transparent for those of you
who would prefer that. This texture is located in each of the F-86
aircraft folders (gmaxf86 and gmaxf86a) in the folder named alt canopy
glass texture. Just put this .bmp in any or all of the texture folders
for the Sabre.

Known issues

On some video cards there may be graphical issues. Mainly with the
backface texture for the exhaust. It will disappear from certain
angles while in spot view. I have tried to fix this problem, but
can't seem to find a reason for it's existence. TURNING OFF the
FS2004 setting ** Render to texture ** may resolve this issue for
many. You can also try changing between Trilinear and Bilinear.
Though this doesn't appear to work as well as turning off the render
to texture setting.

SOUND

I was unable to find any F-86 sounds. So I had to use default ones.
However, there are many good sounds available on the web. I use the
wonderful F-16 sounds made by Christoffer Petersen. They are of course
not F-86 sounds, but they sure sound GREAT!! Beautiful job Christoffer.
The file name for his sounds are below:

f-16-pw200-the_real_deal.zip

You should be able to find them on one or all of the usual sim sites.
(avsim, flightsim, simviation)
